Investigation in Elmenia.-Lucca and Evangeline.

Jacqli had sent them off with a pair of tickets, a map, a lot of money, and some specialized equipment. the tickets had yielded a week long journey on a sluggish airship, a converted cargo ship with little passenger space. But at last, the voyage over the vast sea of death came to an end, and they looked upon the isolated First Tower, beautiful Ar Tonelico. Arriving at the city of Nemo, the biggest city that was left in Jacqli's world.

Jacqli's map lead them to an isolated floating island, far off from the main settlements, only reachable by a chartered airship. But it seemed that they were not the only ones interested in the island and the ruins it supported. Another airship, larger, finer and heavily armed, hovered over the place like a graceful swan with nuclear missiles. Banners and markings on the ship announced it's allegiance to someone called Shurelia. And now the island was crawling with knights and Reyvateils. This, Jacqli had not warned them about.

Sonic would have waited by the gate to his world for Meiling, but waiting around was never something he was very good at. In fact he was horrible at it, especially with something as cool as what he had planned for the two of them. So instead, at the time they agreed upon, he'd decided to meet up with her and they'd go to the gate together... wherever she was.

Tenshi had been annoyed enough by her failed idea earlier, but hearing from a certain councilor about a certain bill completely incensed her. And prompted something obvious: If people don't want to share info, she just had to get it herself directly from the source!

Was it dangerous? Outrageous? RIsky? Of course! But was it worth it? Possibly!

And so, she had gone to Kazumi, after all, going alone would look badly, while her protecting a human would look pretty good all things considered. Kazumi, in turn, would also be accompanied by yet another human - but Tenshi had worked together with that one, so it was fine with her ~~and her ego~~. Travelling to Isthul to get information on Astral Silver might be more difficult than just asking a councilor, but she'd be damned if she would be left out!

Right now, she was at the portal, waiting for Kazumi and the one set to accompany her. Really, she had been itching to see some proper action, and this could be just that! ~~Also, Kazumi wouldn't misintrepete it as a date this way.~~
