Who: All Agents and Enforcers assigned to Kemet
What: Investigating the War, Trying to get an audience with Tutmose, etc.
Where: Kemet
Looking outside the CO outpost windows, one can see many things in the city of Kismet.
The buildings - modern multistory stonework painted white with colorful decorative murals - had pieces chipped off, glass shattered. There are overturned cars. People of all nationality, dressed down for the hot, dry heat moved quickly from place to place, On several walls is a graffiti of a Lion's head. Looming on the city edge is several stately Sphinxes made from tinted metal stood vigil, sun reflecting off their surface.
And beyond the city, one can see a glass pyramid with a single gold pillar reaching far up into the sky, no end can be seen.

Date: 2011-10-17 05:29 pm (UTC)Initial planning
Date: 2011-10-17 05:44 pm (UTC)I think before we do anything else, we need information. All I've been able to get is the basic political situation from the news.
Re: Initial planning
Date: 2011-10-17 05:55 pm (UTC)Pidonus is working Infiltrations - she'll pretend to be working solely as an assistant to Urd, but in reality is planning to sneak her way through locations.
She'll have tried to case the area a little, trying to figure out if they have ways to handle charm magic and the like.

Re: IC planning thread
Date: 2011-10-17 07:19 pm (UTC)Clever.
*Pid passes her hair over.*
So, should I be going with Urd to play the dutiful assistant, or you think I'd be better off going right into slipping around, hunting down intel?

The Ruler will speak first, all questions asked must be answered, and that unless given permission, one must not look directly at the Prince, and one cannot refuse any offers of food, drink, or entertainment that His Majesty Offers.

Date: 2011-10-17 05:43 pm (UTC)Temples - the tallest buildings in the city, and the ones that are relatively intact are opened despite recent battles, performing age old rituals from Scribes writing down prophecies to High Priests offering sacrifices to the Gods to end the strife. Perhaps the Gods could be spoken to, not just the priests.
People on the streets are cagey, glancing from shadow to shadow, but their insight can be revealing.

"The other thing I was thinking of... Well, you've got Gouto, and I can summon Heqet, the Egyptian goddess of fertility. Don't know what her status is here. The priests might be willing to talk to us if they think we've got the gods on our side, though."

Date: 2011-10-19 03:16 am (UTC)And yet here he is, out in the great vast desert. And why? Because he had to go for what sounded like the most adventurous task of the bunch and find himself a princess in trouble. Because you can take a pirate away from adventure, but you can't take the adventure out of the pirate. Even if you can take several fluid ounces of water out instead.
He grumbles. "Man, this stinks. Why couldn't she have hidden in a nice air-conditioned hotel or something?"
