Sonic tapped his foot against the microscopic pile of the office carpeting, as he passed the research terminal in the library records room. While Sonic was giving it a good try in the end the hyperactive hedgehog had all the patience and focus of a four-year-old on a sugar high. Fortunately Ran's physical presence was a good enough reason for him to not simply wander off.

"Okay, so the jungle's gone. There's still SOME stuff left, though not enough to grow back, and I don't remember anything about it disappearing... Where d'ya think we should start?"

The Thing that Should Not Be

What: Hunting down a thing from the Dungeon Dimension

The Thing felt threatened and incomplete. In so much as it could think, it wondered where all the others were, and it felt hungry. There was magic everywhere here, but there never was very MUCH. The one decent magic source it had found had fled, and now it was starting to run low on fuel. Much more of this and it wouldn't be able to keep up it's disguise. The rabbit's form faded for a moment revealing something...unpleasant, but it solidified a moment later, and continued lurching awkwardly across the grounds, looking for a source of magic to keep it alive.

Elsewhere, Ridcully wandered in a dreamlike state across the ground. His eyes were closed as he reached for his magical senses and slowly homed in on the Thing. He trusted on Kyonko to make sure he didn't actually run into anything. At this rate, he would stumble across the Thing any minute.

Marvelous was waiting at the portal Duo and company had left from before, arms crossed and tapping his foot.

He wasn't looking forward to this, honestly - one of his people was in there, and there were battleships involved. He didn't have GokaiOh - Doc, Joe, and Ahim were still living on the Galleon back home. So he was stuck working with a bunch of strangers.

Strangers he was having to wait for, and Marvelous was not feeling very patient today.

Raiding Raiders

What: Raiding a pirate base in an dead world

The mecha hangar had a really big gate in it. It needed one for all the huge stuff in it to be able to get out. Right now the readout next to the gate read "World-GW79. WARNING: DEAD WORLD. BIOHAZARD RISK, AGENTS ARE RECOMMENDED NOT TO STAY FOR MORE THAN FOUR DAYS."

Duo figured that even if he had to stay that long, he would be fine in his GOUF-Ignited. Right now, he had the cockpit door open and was sitting on the ledge with his legs dangling over a thirty foot drop as he waited for everyone else to show up. Next to him was a ship that should be familiar to anyone from the Children of Entropy raid: the Shin Gensokyo Operative class infiltration ship. If everything went according to plan, everyone would be back in an hour.

What: Field testing his humanoid-form generator... thingy. Definitely not a date.

Sonic had met Meiling at the time they'd set just outside the gate, but when she sees him, he'll be his normal spiky self and not in the humanoid form Meiling had found him in last time. He's doing what he always does; fidgeting impatiently and tapping his foot, waiting for her.

Everyone was told to wait in the the room. It's bland, gray, with chairs whose cushions had been rendered hard from over use, and Magazines that date back from 1923 and there are kiddy toys, tonka trucks, box of lincoln logs, etc.

Everyone's been waiting for an hour already and there's no sign of the Specialist coming out anytime soon.
