A chain of explosions firing in rapid succession can be heard about a mile north of your location.

Well. That wasn't good. Of course, they still didn't know exactly what they were looking at yet. "Guys! Stay here for now! We don't want to go there blind just yet."

One of the wide area search balls went headed towards the explosions trying to see what was around there, while the other two started circling a half a mile around them. Sure, it wasn't as efficient as it could've been, but at least this way they'd have a better idea if something was coming to ambush them.

Raz frowns, lowering his goggles and hunkering down. If he sees any shots, he intends on shifting in front of Vivio and activating his shields, but for the time being he simply remains in a state of preparedness. He nods to Kirby.

Kirby nods back, going into serious mode. He lifts up the Hammer once more, ready to fight if need be. Defenses aren't his forte...

A group of men with Confuto Ordinatio emblems on their uniforms and company logos all over their guns are running towards your group. Behind them is a contingent of tanks and some foot soldiers from Isthul, clearly displaying military uniforms.

Vivio's eyes snap open as the spell shows her exactly what's coming their way. "Okay! We have a group of our people to save! Raz, you can you do long range attacks?"

Kris was already floating around her, and Vivio was already getting ready to transform. Right now Vivio was kicking herself mentally for not being that great with the Wide Area Search spell. She was going to need a bit more practice with that, obviously.

"Yes ma'am!" All right, they get to shoot stuff! Raz salutes and moves to position himself to best effect. Thankfully he made sure to bottle up enough anger lately, so he should have plenty of shots.

And at that moment, Vivio took the moment to transform into her Adult Mode, Kris disappearing as she fused with her. "Okay, Raz, Kirby, that plan you two were talking about. Do it. We need all the power we can get, then we'll move, trying to keep as far away as we can from the enemy. Make sure you don't do anything that will need to to stay in one place for long. We can't let the tanks hit us."

That last part was probably a bit unnecessary to say, but Vivio didn't want to leave it out. With typical luck, she wouldn't say it and one of them would stay still long enough to get shot by a tank.

"Right!" Kirby said, saluting Vivio quickly. He ran behind Raz and set himself up. "Hold on! This won't hurt a bit!"

In quick order, Kirby's body expanded as his Inhale ability kicked in, pulling in Raz. Swallowing, the Psychonaught would find himself magically teleported out as Kirby magically gained a flight cap and goggles on his head.

Raz Kirby was born! "Let's go!"

Raz sits dazed for a moment. "Okay. That was the weirdest experience in my life, and I enter HEADS for a living." He shakes his head and, nodding, moves out. He hopes Kirby knows how to use all that stuff he absorbed INSTINCTIVELY.

Though as he runs, he mulls out loud, "But why are the TANKS attacking? I thought it was just a bunch of angry rioters?"

The CO agents rush to your line as the tanks move forward. The foot soldiers lower their rifles, opening fire on the exposed backs of the fleeing CO agents.

"It doesn't matter, we need to hurry!"

And with that, Vivio took to the air, flying towards the fleeing agents and the attackers. She wasn't going to be able to shield them from the bullets, so she was going to have to do the next best thing.

"Sonic Shooter!"

She shouted, thrusting her arm forward as six small balls of magic appeared around her and fired off, speeding towards the group of attackers from Isthul. It wasn't a strong spell, but if it dragged their attention to her, that was all that mattered for the moment.

At that moment, something else happened.

From the side, between the retreating CO agents and the attacking military, a huge beam of energy flew down, plowed into the ground, and then curved back up into the sky. It kicked up all sorts of dust, and when it cleared, a certain young boy stood in between the fleeing CO members and the military. His hands were obscured by two balls of energy, ready to fire again if he had to.

Raz maneuvers his way to higher ground, running and flipping through the trees. He pauses only as he spots the energy beam -- holy crap that was AWESOME -- before he gets to work, firing off frustration bullets at some of the attacking force. On a few others he focuses on their gun, heating them up with pyrokinesis to an unbearable heat, before moving again and continuing his assault.

Kirby had the advantage of size, able to slip by the bullets and come in close and slam those Raz burned with his pyrokinesis with his Hammer.

Turning to some of the others, he used his own version of pyrokinesis to give other soldiers a major hotfoot.

The energy beams and Sonic Shooter, as well as the frustration bullets and pyrokinesis scatter the soldiers, disrupting their attacks and allowing the CO agents to escape to the safety of your lines.

The sound of a blade coming free of its scabbard echoes throughout the battlefield and a cloud of dust erupts from the enemy lines as a man wielding a giant blade of shining silver dashes forward, bringing it to bear in an attempt to slice Gohan in half.

Gohan leaped into the air, back toward the rest of the CO personnel, then brought his hands together. The energy balls merged, and Gohan fired a beam from his hands. His target was the enemy's sword.

Vivio's eyes widened a bit when she noticed that Gohan was about to be attacked by a guy with a sword, but so far it seemed like he was doing okay. She didn't need to help him out.

So she decided to send more blasts of magic towards the soldiers instead, not wanting to give them a chance to regroup.

"Isn't there something kinda backward about bringing out the guy with the sword AFTER all the guns?" Raz mutters before resuming his assault. They were taking care of the soldiers all right, but the tanks were another issue altogether.

Of course, the thing about tanks is, they're great with long ranges. Not so great with little kids suddenly swinging over onto one of them and sticking his face down over the driver's optics. "HI!" he says, grinning, before promptly giving it a good hard smack with a psychic fist the size of his body.

Kirby looked as the new person arrived. At the moment, it looked like the two fighters had it under control. It was time to attack the tanks!

Inflating himself, he flew himself over one of the tanks and, taking up a Rock form, crashed on top of it.

Raz and Kirby do much to disrupt the tank line, and Vivio does much to pin down the soldiers before they can launch a counter-attack. The troops begin to attempt to regroup, fortifying their position and laying down some cover fire against Raz and Kirby with their rifles to help the tanks get into position.

Without missing a blink the man leaps into the air, easily equallying Gohan's speed of ascent as he slices at the energy balls with his sword. The blade glows with brilliant light as the energy balls are deflected and launched back at Gohan as he raises his sword to follow through with a slashing attack.

A look of surprise crosses Gohan's face, but it doesn't last for long, as a huge energy burst, accompanied with a powerful shockwave, emanates from the boy as his hair and eyes change color. He then seems to disappear...only to reappear behind his opponent with a kick aimed at the back of his head.
