As the city continued to burn, a group of travelers emerged from a house that is miraculously still standing despite the damage done to its surrounding. One of them is the Lord Knight, Hayne Roderick, who was tasked by the King to help in the evacuation progress before joining the other adventurers coming over from all the corners of the world to try and defeat the abomination that is destroying the city.

[Here's a list of Job Classes your character can take. Do note that since everyone here is experienced, you all can pick a Transcendant Class.

Each participants are handed a set of healing items of these following types in a Bag of Holding given by Hayne. Do OOCly tell the amount of healing items used so I can keep track of it.

Vivio's eyes narrowed as she saw the two children surrounded by those monsters, trying to see if there was anything they could do for them.

It looked like, she might be able to...

Yeah, they should be close enough for it to work, if she had enough time? "Okay, Gohan, you going to be able to get over that stuff? I'm going to need to to fight against them while I put up a few barriers."

Vivio raised her staff, and concentrated as she began casting her spell. "Safety Wall!" she shouted, having the wall appear in front of the two children. "One of you, get on there while I make another one!" she shouted, as she started concentrating again.

"Yeah, I can make it through there," Gohan said, and he began running. He ran, leaped, and swung through the debris to get to the pillar, then leaps in toward the nearest monster, ready to drive his fist straight into its head.

One of the children scurried over to the safety wall, while Gohan's punch managed to distract the monster, and thus, drawing the other monsters attention to him.

...Gohan, you might want to dodge the incoming pile of monsters.

Vivio kept concentrating... before raising the staff again. "Safety Wall!"

And there was another barrier in front of the other child now.

She then turned her attention towards the monsters near Gohan and started casting another spell.

Gohan leaped backwards, bounced off a piece of debris, then grabbed onto a rod sticking out above the scene. He then dropped down with another punch aimed at the head of the topmost monster in the dogpile.

Vivio's eyes widened a bit as he moved the staff up. "Gravitation Field!" she shouted, concentrating on casting the spell around the monsters there, making sure that Gohan or the children wouldn't be caught in the blast.

Of course, because of how strong the spell was, she couldn't do anything right now until her mind refocused...

Gravitation Field, a good spell for mob control, as it pressed them down to the earth and greatly reducing their attacking speed. Not to mention, it also hurts like hell, hence why Gohan's attacks are very effective against them!

The drawback of the spell though, is that the caster could not move from one spot during the duration.



Hence why a monster is right behind Vivio, poised for stabbing her.

Gohan saw the monster attacking Vivio, and like HELL he was going to let that happen.

"NO YOU DON'T!!"

He subconsciously activated Critical Explosion, followed by Body Relocation. It brought him right behind the monster, at which point he slammed his fist straight into the back of its head.

Critical Hit! The monster is knocked away from Vivio, and is going to reel in pain for a while. Enough for the spell to finish, killing off the other mooks besides this one brute.

After it recovers though, its going to form a purple flaming hammer.

Which is going to be used in bashing the pair into literal mince meats.

Vivio let out a sigh of relief as her spell finished and she dodged out of the way of the giant hammer. "Thanks Gohan!"

She started concentrating again, before lifting up her staff and casting Amplify Magic Power on herself, before she started to concentrate on another spell.

Gohan was too busy dodging the hammer to respond. Once he was out of the way of the attack, he launched another of his own -- a flying kick to the face.

POW!

...The kick connects, but sadly, it is not enough to do any damage as the monster raises its empty hand, grabs Gohan's leg.

And flung him to the nearest rubble.

"GOHAN!" Vivio shouted, trying to keep calm and concentrating on finishing her spell. "NAPALM VULCAN!" she shouted, pointing her staff and concentrating towards the monster as she fired off the spell.

Gohan slammed into the rubble, but jumped back out a moment later, not seriously hurt. He turned his head and spat onto the ground, then assumed a combat position. He didn't know what to think at this point -- that monster had just taken one of his kicks to the face and wasn't harmed at all by it. He hadn't expected that to happen at all.

The monster reeled back from the continuous assault of telekinetic blasts, but after a while, it then started walking towards the pair, the arm wielding the blade pointed up towards the sky, before it suddenly flew up into the air, and falling back down, blade first towards the pair.

Vivio gasped, moving out of the way of the sword strike as she raised her staff above her head again, concentrating on another spell to through at the monster. "SOUL STRIKE!"

Gohan also leaped out of the way of the sword strike, and attacked again -- this time, he launched a punch aimed at the monster's midsection.

The punch and the Soul Strike's orbs caused the monster to flinch a bit, but it continues on its path before actually stabbing the sword in the ground, causing a large cross of darkness to pop out and dealing severe damage to the pair.

They might want to use the Potions provided by Hayne at the start of this mission.

Vivio gasped as she felt the darkness slam into her and send her back a bit. And by a bit she was sent flying right onto her back. And let out a loud scream of pain.

She grabbed the potion Hayne gave her and used it immediately as she made it back to her feet.

Gohan was knocked backwards, but landed on his feet and grabbed his own potion and used it.
