Isthul - 72 hours before military action

Both Isthul gates are now fortified basecamps, the Agents manning it more than a little nervous. The military's declaration is fresh, and while the battle was won, there are a scant 72 hours before the promised strike. Things are tense, and beyond the picket lines you can already see a massive force of Isthul troops preparing to attack your position.

[Because this situation can be handled any number of ways, instead of restricting posts to what I come up with for possible action, characters may start their own threads. Please title your thread with a description of the action you are taking.

Isthul forces CAN be contacted via radio or signal flares, although whether or not they respond is another matter entirely.]

Things were going to hell fast. Taking notice of the arriving Gundam, the little pink ball takes the time to wave at it before resuming hanging on for dear life.

The mech explodes as the other two in the sky fan out, returning fire on Zabanya. Mao's sword breaks through and cuts deeply into the mech's shoulder as it pulls away, drawing a smaller gun and firing some close-range energy fire.

For the moment, Phoenix is safe from attack.

"It'll take more than that to stop Zabanya!"

The triple bazooka formation dispersed, and the holster bits paired up to block the shots. Meanwhile, the rifle bits all lined up with the Gundam and began firing at random, peppering the enemy mecha with thick particle beam fire.

Phoenix is NOT taking the respite for granted. He keeps driving as fast as he can, swerving through the traffic and trying not to lose control. This isn't an easy thing to do when he's had so little training, but it's not like it's just HIS life on the line in this car right now.



Apparently, yes. Phoenix just BARELY spots the exit number in time, and swerves madly to make it. Sparks fly as he grinds against the barrier.

Mao leaps backwards as the enemy pulls a gun on her, dodging the first round of shots, then dropped off the freeway before it could fire a second round. Her plan was to roll under the elevated road and come at it from the other side.

As Phoenix makes the turn, Kirby gets flung to the other side, plastering himself onto the door. This was starting to hurt.

As Phoenix exits, he approaches the Confuto Ordinatio lines. The mechs dodge and weave out of the way of Zabanya's shots, before disengaging, choosing not to pursue any further.
