Isthul - 72 hours before military action
Who: All agents and enforcers going into Isthul
Where: Isthul
What: Diffuse the situation or withdraw
Both Isthul gates are now fortified basecamps, the Agents manning it more than a little nervous. The military's declaration is fresh, and while the battle was won, there are a scant 72 hours before the promised strike. Things are tense, and beyond the picket lines you can already see a massive force of Isthul troops preparing to attack your position.
[Because this situation can be handled any number of ways, instead of restricting posts to what I come up with for possible action, characters may start their own threads. Please title your thread with a description of the action you are taking.
Isthul forces CAN be contacted via radio or signal flares, although whether or not they respond is another matter entirely.]

"Exit 192! I just radio'd ahead, but I don't know if it got through!"

Kirby's busy bouncing from one end to the other as Phoenix drives like a maniac. It was times like this he wished he had one of his Air Rides. Or a Wheelie.

Suddenly, a series of particle beam shots comes flying in from the direction of the nearest gate, all shots aiming at the descending mech -- and all aimed with a sniper's precision.
Immediately following that, a HUGE blast is fired up into the sky at the remaining airborne mecha. Tracing both attacks back to their source will reveal Zabanya, off in the distance, sniper scopes open and a rifle bit in its hands. Above it, the rest of the shield bits and rifle bits had taken a diamond-pattern formation.
"You think this would count as being fashionably late?"

And then, suddenly, blasts from overhead. Phoenix ducks almost instinctively, and leans out the window. "I don't care HOW late you are, as long as you're here just in the nick of time!" he shouts, before ducking his head back in with a yelp as that maneuver causes him to swerve a bit.

For the moment, Phoenix is safe from attack.

The triple bazooka formation dispersed, and the holster bits paired up to block the shots. Meanwhile, the rifle bits all lined up with the Gundam and began firing at random, peppering the enemy mecha with thick particle beam fire.

Apparently, yes. Phoenix just BARELY spots the exit number in time, and swerves madly to make it. Sparks fly as he grinds against the barrier.
